It's simply impossible to truly dislike Glen Closer's second CD. The self-titled disc is jam-packed with hooks, delivered one after another as each band member briefly takes over vocal duties. Glen Closer are a tight-knit bunch whose chummy attitude is positively infectious; if you're about to drag a friend from Montana to Louisiana and neither of you have a map or any idea how to get there, just pop Glen Closer in the player and everything will be fine. You can each pick a vocalist to sing along with, and trust the band's classic rock 'n' roll vibes to carry you through.
